MS Modified is working hard to bring you quality content.

I have no idea what I am really planning on doing there. I just knew it was time to move away from this [Modified Motherhood] and start a new book. A sequel, if you will. So, MS (Ms. - get it?) Modified was born.

Things I plan hope to cover....
• Multiple Sclerosis (kind of a given...)
• No, that's as far as I got. I am a huge proponent of "this doesn't define me" but as the years go by, I realize that MS touches/will touch everything. The same was my EDS touches everything, but I've got a lifetime of coping with that. MS is new. So join me, let's learn together.

This is 24 years together.
24 years of waking up together, eating, sleeping, laughing, crying, getting into whatever we can and then getting back out of whatever it was.
I can’t say it’s the path I expected, anticipated, sought out, or avoided.
I can say it’s been full of joy and sorrow, good times and bad, and loads more surprises than I think either of us ever imagined. More good. Definitely loads more good. Like I tell the kids, all of our collective choices have landed us right here, together. Not too shabby to gather up and look over ❤️
Let’s see what happens in the next 9000 or so days ❤️ That is not enough days.

Another Year, Another University Drop Off

Parenting Adult Children Last year I wrote about dropping my oldest biological child off at college. Not that he needed us to drop him off, he needed a second car to transport his stuff. It’s [...]

    Welcome Back!

A lot has happened since I talked about leaving my oldest at college last August. A lot a lot. It’s been an eventful six months is an understatement.  Before I jump into what is practically [...]

Off to College

Can we stop time for a hot minute?  One of the people I made is getting ready to move 4.5 hours away from me, into an apartment he secured on his own, to go to […]

Accountability. This is a dirty word in my mind. I try so hard to keep myself accountable, but, I am human, and I am flawed.  I have been going back through my own posts from […]

Digital Sticker Album

I’ve been feeling more creative in the last five days than I have in the last five months. Really longer, but I like pretty sentences. I jumped onto the digital bullet journal bandwagon, and with […]

It’s Always Money

I bet you know by now that I am always fighting my finances. We have curbed our unnecessary spending, without making it feel like we are doing without. With that said, I understand your unnecessary […]

Prelude to a Tiny House

Despite not posting about it for over a year, I’m still all about tiny living. We’ve been, slowly, minimizing our needs while tempering that against not entirely doing without. One mans needs and all that.  […]
